Critics not impressed with Apple's new mode

Apple Inc. recently launched the fifth edition of its coveted product, the iphone, Although apple has poured in a lot capital in this edition of the product but still, most of the tech analysts on the world of internet feels thatit has not got that much in its arsenal that is hyped. According to them, Apple iPhone 5 lacks in uniqueness and versatality, which may result precariously, for Apple, in the ever increasing competition between the Smartphone giants.

Apples iphone 5 is rated to be the sleekest and thinnest of all the iphone. But any one who possesesthe I phone 4S would find not many new innovations it iPhone 4S and hence will be disappointed. The basic design of the model has been kept unaltered. The phones back has been armored with unbreakable glass which gives it a shiny glossy appearance.The coveted retina display of the previous version has also been used here which adds a lot to the hd video calling and gaming experience .The external looks of Apple iPhone 5 may remain the same to that of its predecessor iPhone 4S, but internally there has been few augments. The core of this product consist of the state of the art A6 processor which makes it work twice as fast as the previous version. The A6 processor is also responsible for modifying the graphics quality and making it a better mobile gaming device. Apple iPhone 5 comes with the brand new mobile phone operating system,iOS 6.It also anchors upto 200 new apps that have been cartographed by apple.

.The iphone 5 lacks many features that make it less anticipated among android users, NTC is a common example. Shane Richmond wrote in London’s The Telegraph, “There is nothing here (Apple iPhone 5) that leaves the Galaxy S3, the HTC One X or the Nokia Lumia 920 looking dated or out of touch”. Some ther complaints have taken shelter around the new Lightning connector on the new Apple devices including the iPhone 5. David Pogue in the New York Times pointed out, “I'll grudgingly admit that the Lightning connector is a great design.Still, think of all those charging cables, docks, chargers, car adapters, hotel-room alarm clocks, speakers and accessories—hundreds of millions of gadgets that will no longer fit the iPhone”.

According to a research firm IDC, presently Samsung enjoys a 32.6 percent worldwide share of the smartphone market, raised from 17 percent last year. The Galaxy SIII has alone managed to sell 22.5 million units in just three months. Apples market position has not been fairly good as Apple as its marketshare collapsed from 18.8 percent last year to 16.9 percent thus indicating a massive stepdown in its global market share . In order to keep itself high above its competitors, Apple must look into the flaws and find out ways to resolve them. Although there is no doubt that Apple will reach a very strong position after the release of this version but apple has to remove the drawbacks to hold itself high.
